Problem being addressed
• Drinking water is contaminated with excess iron &
turbidity in many region of our country. For rural
and semi-urban sectors, there is no such affordable
water purification technology for treatment of iron
& turbid water. The technologies available for iron
removal are not cost effective to install and operate.
TERAFIL Technology developed at IMMT for efficient
removal of Iron & Turbidity is cost effective, electricity
independent, easy to operate, environment friendly
etc.
